Lyrics of 'The king Cobra and the Ants'

Once there lived a king cobra in a small hole. When the King Cobra was small he likes to eat little creatures. As we grew up he starts to eat eggs, lizards, frogs and rabbits. And further when he grew up more then he started to eat even other smaller snakes also.

As he grew up big his pride grew with him. All the small animals of the forest begin to fear the king cobra. This also boosted up his pride day by day.

He began to think “Now, I am the most powerful creature and I am the king of this big forest, the entire animals fear me”. All the forest was now under him and almost each and every animal in the forest now begin to fear to the King Cobra.

One day a thought came to his mind “As I am the big and the king, now I have to move from this small hole to very decent bigger place.” So, he started searched for a place to suit his big size as well as his big status.

After sometime finally, he found a big place across a big tree. He selected this place for his new house. But suddenly he saw an ant hill near the tree.

He thought “why should there be an ugly ant hill nearby my new house?” He hissed aloud with full force “I am king cobra, the king of the forest. I ordered the ants to vacate immediately this place“.

Strange!!! There was no reply from anywhere, so he got angry and streak at the ant hill. What a surprise! Within minute thousands of ants swarmed up at King cobra, biting him everywhere all over the body.

The king cobra could not bear that such pain. He ran away from the place where the ants were living.
